Suffocating our brain

As mentioned in previous posts, acute cerebrovascular events are not uncommon in severe COVID patients. New research discovered that the alternative lectin complement pathway is responsible for micro vascular thrombosis and coagulopathy. Drugs blocking the lectin pathway may be applied in severe cases to prevent microvascular thrombosis, which can lead to acute cerebrovascular events.
