Formed in 1981, the Hong Kong Neurosurgical Society (“the Society”) is currently registered as a charitable organization in Hong Kong. We have more than 200 members, including neurosurgeons, nurses and allied health specialists.

 

As the official member of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies, the Society is actively involved in the development of neurosurgery and training of young neurosurgeons in Hong Kong.

 

Through international scientific meetings, research activities and public education, we aim to create an awareness of neurosurgical disorders and to improve the standard of neurosurgical diagnosis and treatment.
