Isa TANG

I am a medical student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Interests in human biology and fulfillment from volunteering led me into the field of medicine, while the challenges and great effects on patients brought by neurological disorders sparked my interest in neuroscience. As a member of HKSAN in the Department of Public Health, I wish to raise awareness towards common neurological disorders and mental illness – early recognition, available treatments and the needs of patients and their families, both physically and psychologically. I am also interested in seeing how clinical and epidemiological research can increase our understanding on the diseases’ pathological causes, progression and ways to enhance patients’ treatment and rehabilitation experience.
